TIP...culottes style shorts look great with a tucked in button up shirt why not try a denim shirt for a more modern look and I have added a loose blazer as with heels the length of the shorts worn with a jacket means it could be a great work look but I love these tribal high tops to add colour and texture

The New 60's.....

TIP...I wanted to make the 60's slightly less literal so took these printed trousers and wore with a loose blazer and a pyjama shaped cotton shirt (my favourite summer shape) the oversized round sunnies add to the 60's touch but go bigger for a more modern take on the circular frame trend

TIP...high waisted shorts and a button up blouse give the 60's a more preppy edge I love the bright colour of the shorts and I would wear flats when you have shorts during the day I love the nude leather as it means you don't focus on the shoes and then the straps round the ankles don't cut your leg at the ankle

TIP...search the spring shows and fruit has been this random sub trend seen at dolce & gabbana and a few others but again found this vintage silk shirt with a pineapple print in a strong colour the loose fit makes this a perfect daytime alternative to a t-shirt worn with denim cut-offs

TIP...go for pastels and pick a great silhouette shape in a cool colour like green and wear with another pastel like this gorgeous lemon jumpsuit add a heel and a fun pair of sunnies to compliment the colour of the coat the 3/4 length always works well with a jumpsuit

TIP...I love this pale blue take of a trench its a looser fit to a normal trench so keep the outfit loose and laid back and layer a jumper over a soft dress throw the coat on with a pair of heels in the same colour

TIP...although I have worn this outfit before I have added a loose silk blouse and left it undone to act like a cardigan but is less bulky and more glamourous

TIP...grunge up a neon dress and wear with a big jumper and heavy boots and the beeny hat give it the 90's twist but if you want to wear a coat why not try a big black loosely shaped overcoat, let the neon do the talking
