Battle of the Looks!

TIP...yellow can come in all shades from mustard to pastel I have mixed them all up in this outfit and broken up the shades with animal print the headscarf is the perfect finish for a bad hair day! Play with colour in your trainers too the high tops give the outfit a more modern twist

TIP...make a silk dress more casual and layer a crop t-shirt over it and a simple biker jacket the boots are fab and a perfect summer flat great with everything but good for dresses to give the outfit an edge keep the tones neutral throughout with the more pastel yellow shades

I love this shirt dress from LaLa Berlin I have shown you 3 ways to wear this but it could also be used as a great cover up or alternative kaftan for the beach!

TIP...double denim is great for summer try a denim jacket but keep it oversized if you are wearing short shorts and the finishing touch is my favourite obsession a pair of cowboy boots these are a customised pair I bought in LA but any short style will do!

TIP...a jumpsuit is my version of a dress its a one stop shop and needs very little thought this one I bought from gap a while a go but most denim brands have done a similar version just wear with a great pair of shoes and keeping the cowgirl in mind I love these with the gold toe cap (a trend to look out for this winter)

TIP...I love loose silk shorts they are great with simple basics and have dressed it up with heels and a cute biker jacket in fabric to soften the outfit look for multi strap laces for a sexy take on a sports inspired shoe

TIP...isabel marant is the queen of sexy casual clothes if you are opting for a printed denim then why not play with textures and add an oversized summer knit you can afford to wear heels if you are keeping the top half baggy and understated

TIP...culottes style shorts look great with a tucked in button up shirt why not try a denim shirt for a more modern look and I have added a loose blazer as with heels the length of the shorts worn with a jacket means it could be a great work look but I love these tribal high tops to add colour and texture

The New 60's.....

TIP...I wanted to make the 60's slightly less literal so took these printed trousers and wore with a loose blazer and a pyjama shaped cotton shirt (my favourite summer shape) the oversized round sunnies add to the 60's touch but go bigger for a more modern take on the circular frame trend

TIP...high waisted shorts and a button up blouse give the 60's a more preppy edge I love the bright colour of the shorts and I would wear flats when you have shorts during the day I love the nude leather as it means you don't focus on the shoes and then the straps round the ankles don't cut your leg at the ankle

TIP...search the spring shows and fruit has been this random sub trend seen at dolce & gabbana and a few others but again found this vintage silk shirt with a pineapple print in a strong colour the loose fit makes this a perfect daytime alternative to a t-shirt worn with denim cut-offs
