why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

Florals.....

This week I am wearing florals; go bright or clash them, from ditsy to oriental there should be a floral out the for all tastes.  The pieces are I am wearing are soon to come but if you love this trend then be in with the chance to win the t-shirt from my second outfit all you have to do is tell me how you would wear it, so leave a comment below or tweet me @nataliehartley the deadline is next sunday 27th january... good luck!

TIP... look out for sheer pieces this spring and with the floral embroidery keep this looking fresh and modern I have styled it with silk trousers keeping the colour tones similar and added a simple pointy shoe in black for an 80's power twist this is a great look for work with a blazer and slip or for night kept sheer just add a citrus lipstick shade like tangerine

TIP... for a cooler easy way to wear this trend find a print added to an oversized t-shirt or sweatshirt and wear with leather for a tougher finish but the a line skirt gives this a feminine feel again I have added a metallic boot as these are probably one of my favourite boots for summer great with everything and a good addition to update old clothes!
