why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

The Shirt Dress.....

The shirt dress is the effortless piece of summer clothing but why not experiment with colour and try bold 70's or graphics prints.  This is a vintage dress by LANVIN and you can WIN the one am wearing in the blog today just retweet the blog or leave a comment below to enter!  Deadline Saturday 24th May...good luck!

TIP... casual summer dressing doesn't get easier than this all you have to do is add a cool accessory like oversized sunglasses to promote this bold look but adding a trainer will totally update a vintage look (I am also having a big romance with these AF 1 style of trainer as they seem to look good with everything!)

  6. I like the longer length a lot. With print and looser fit, it almost looks monumental. I can think of at least 5 different ways to wear it!

  9. So unexpected - when you said shirt dress i was thinking yikes 90s midi length plain button down but this print and length make it super modern and seem super easy to wear. Bought these trainers this week and havent taken them off since! Thanks for all your ideas, your twist on pieces and how to wear them really inspires me to be brave.
