why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

TIP... colour block pink and keep it simple with the shapes accessorise with pink too by adding sunglasses or anything else you prefer you can wear pink head to toe or broken up it just depends on how much you love it!  even if you never thought pink was your thing try a softer tone and you just might be converted

TIP... if you buy anything at all next season it has to be a coat and why not try it in pink?  this is a muted version and easier to match with your wardrobe but why not mix up your shades and brighten it against white add a trainer to dress it down

The Summer Coat.....

By the looks of it we will all be need a good lightweight coat this summer and these are two of my favourites. I am really loving the 3/4 length coat this season and in these lightweight fabrics they are perfect to see you through.  This week you can WIN the coat in the second look just leave a comment below or retweet the blog...deadline Friday 7th June

TIP... try a minimal shape in a neutral colour and the collarless detail gives this a sharper finish and looks great over round neck shapes brighten the look with a colourful trainer

TIP... this coat is still minimal in style but the fuller shape means it is a perfect coat to wear over more fitted pieces of clothing you can also belt this shape tight around the waist and wear it as a dress with the collar up this can be a really sexy alternative
