why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

Paris Fashion Week, Day 4

The Highlights

Today's Natalie Hartley Runs comes to you from Paris via the Eiffel Tower. I don't seem to have enough time (or lung capacity) to run further than 45 mins but it's better than nothing! Fashion week has put me throug my paces of drinking and smoking and have gone back 10 steps so London is calling to up the game when I get back (getting nervous now!) but as for the Landmark runs this was great and I managed to see it early before everyone else did, again worth getting out of bed for!

First show of the day was Stella you all seen the invite andncase you haven't it's infront of my exhausted face google eyes infront and behind

Paris Fashion Week, Day 1

The Highlights

Firstly the day started sharing a train with VB and when exiting never realised who I was walking next to until the camera flashes went mad and saw her to my left...good start to fashion week celeb spots!

Stella always comes up with an inventive invite for her show this season the the double google eyed ring but love the nail art more

A personalised note from Ricardo Tisci for my shot of Naomi Watts in the October issue of InStyle wearing Givenchy, nice touch

The Dior show sets are becoming an exciting experience each season and this was jaw dropping lay beautiful with a frame filled with tropical flowers and orchids the colours were insane and sure to be copied at a billionaires function in the near future

Nicholas Kirkwood for Pollini men's brogues but wish they were in unisex sizes!

Today's look was recycled from Milan I love this coat and investi in a statement coat in a great pastel colour would be perfect for anyone this winter plus the colour palette brings you ahead of the game for next season too just add jeans and a metallic heel

Milan Fashion Week, Day 5

The Highlights

Today I have continued my landmark runs around the world and run around the centre of Milan taking in the sits such as The Duomo below. Getting up early for sport is a new experience for me but there is something quite magical about running in a city like this past buildings as amazing as this when no one else is around! Although I don't think I will ever be one of those people to exercise at the beginning of the day this was definitely worth getting out of bed for!

This nun inspired look means adding a white high neck top under a black sweatshirt and add a metallic heel to soften the look the leather board shorts are on trend for next summer so keep your eyes peeled any fabric will do

White top by pringle
Sweatshirt from beyond retro
Leather shorts by carin wester at urban outfitters
Shoes by kenzo

Then the most modern update and a great way to update old wardrobe staples is wet hair fresh from my run and no time to dry it add mousse to keep texture and hold

Flower Power...envy thing has gone floral for next summer from invites, clothes and even rose tea at Marni
