There is always a colour of the season and for me purple reigns this winter try it in pastel versions or stronger textures be it print or metallic its a great colour that can be worn for day or night! This week I am giving away this amazing brand new TIMEX watch from the second look! I am in love with this watch and feel that the wooden face makes this the perfect watch to go with all trends. Just tell me how you would wear the watch leave a comment below or tweet me @nataliehartley for your chance to win!
Competition closes Friday 16th November...Good Luck!
TIP...print is still going strong but why don't you give it a boyish twist and layer over a buttoned up blouse and jumper layered over play with shades of the colour and wear with jeans for a good neutral base to balance these colours and prints

jumper by jonathan saunders at urban outfitters

TIP...a good cardigan is perfect for winter dressing and this shade of purple is near perfect for me I have layered a rollneck underneath for a retro sporty twist and matched it with these leather trousers this whole outfit has shades of purple throughout just break it up with prints so its not too full on with one colour!

ReplyDeleteI would wear the watch with some printed trousers and a white angora jumper to make the gold and wood face of the watch pop. Paired with a black wool coat and velvet slipper loafers.

Great looks, I love the combinations of different shades of purple. It's a gorgeous idea for winter layering as you've illustrated.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, it is summer here in Australia but I'd still try to incorporate this into my own look by paring lighter hues in say a loose top with blue denim shorts, a boot quite like that in your third look and a printed blazer in a brocade fabric (think Haider Ackermann) to pop on when it gets cooler at night! And of course to top it all off the watch would be the ultimate accessory. I love the idea of mixing different textures and fabrics when wearing one colour.
Thanks for the giveaway and these 3 great looks.

ReplyDeleteI'd wear that watch with my baroque/gold chain printed leggings, nude ankle booties, denim shirt with black sweater and black snap back hat backwards. Channeling the 80s.
ReplyDeleteJust found your gorgeous blog! I know I'm a bit late ( see, I really do need a watch!) but I would wear it with my battered, washed out boyfriend jeans and a cute sweatshirt, something like the Glisten Up Sweatshirt by Three Floor that I've just been drooling over online and wearing in my imagination!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You have win the watch! Always better to be late than never thanks for taking the time to enter! Email me you address so can send you the watch.
