why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

The White Shirt.....

This week check out Phillip Start (owner of Start London Boutique) and his new tailoring range for women, my favourite piece being the classic oversized white shirt.  Below are 3 ways to wear it and then you can win the statement clutch bag in the final look!  RT the blog website or leave a comment below for your chance to win!

TIP... seen as the next big print for aw13 get involved with pinstripe but keep a shirt and blazer relaxed with loose pants and simple trainers

TIP... add a crisp shirt buttoned up under a 50's inspired dress to make this feminine outfit sharper and again dress down with trainers play with colours for anyone trying to make a statement that also looks great against black

TIP... white and denim are great neutral basics that work perfectly together and accessorise with tones or the same colour for a modern update

  1. Gorgeous bag! Fingers crossed!

The white shirt is one of my favourite wardrobe staples. I wear them over bikinis on holidays, with jeans, under jumpers, you name it. They're a classic for a reason.
