why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

The Oversized Clutch

Win this great oversized clutch bag!  how would you wear it? Leave me a comment below or tweet me @nataliehartley for your chance to win!  Deadline is tomorrow night....Good Luck!

TIP...the 60's is a trend thats seems to be here to stay for winter and continues for spring summer so clash your monochrome prints with this great pop art inspired clutch and remember the bigger the bag the better and wear with heavy boots and beeny hat to give this a more individual take on the trend

  2. Ooh! I would wear this with a black and white checkered coat layered over my mustard coloured 3 quarter length shirt (not as bad as you think, it complements my olive skin), with my pink wool scarf around my neck (I'm in Canada, freezing around here at this time!) and my black leather knee length skirt over my deep purple tights, topped off with my black wedge knee high boots. That way the purple will subtly flash with each step I take and coincidently match those dots of purple on the clutch! (Plus, purple and mustard (yellow technically) are complementary. :) I love your dress here.

  4. I just recieved a black leather biker skirt with an asymmetric zip hem that I ordered and I think it would compliment this clutch perfectly with some flat croc boots (like these=http://www.pixiemarket.com/store/crocodilewrappointyboots-p-5374.html) and an Acne sweater in a bright pop colour. Beanie optional (but definitely preferred) and wa-la, the perfect outfit with plenty of kapow!
