why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

Sport.....

This is how would wear the sporty trend this season, opting for colourful accents mixed with metallics and strong shapes it is a great update to a trend that generally comes around each year.  This week as well I am giving you the chance to get into this trend early and you can win the dungarees from my final look!  Just tell me how you would wear it by leaving a comment below or tweeting me @nataliehartley closing date to enter is saturday 2nd feb...good luck!

TIP... this season the sweatshirt is the new jumper I love this printed one and the colour block strips gives it the sporty edge I have worn with loose jeans and heels and the metallic belt is a good finishing touch and match with metallic sunglasses which is a great way to buy into the trend for those looking for a little simpler way to wear this trend

TIP... neon accents are a great way to update this trend this year wear with a sleeveless waistcoat instead always do up and wear like a top but keep it oversized

TIP... try dungarees for an alternative to the all in one but for a sporty twist wear with the straps down and add a loose t-shirt and bomber style jacket (the oriental print is another top tip for the new season!) look out for metallic strips and colour block heels on footwear

  2. I would style the dungarees for work with a buttoned up white shirt, white high heels, messy top-knot, shoulder-grazing earrings, long-line pink blazer with the cuffs pushed back to the elbows, bare wrists, pink lipstick and a gob-stopper ring.

  3. I would love to win this as a little addition to any outfit which you can dress up or down. Right now I'm thinking dress down with black faded boots and a tighter softer looking plaid shirt. As accessories I would wear loads of bangles and bracelets and have my neck bare. My hair would be in a messy bun and my eyes made up heavily but not the rest of my face.

  4. I would love to win the shirt! I would probably wear it with a black evening skater dress, to make it a bit more casual, then I would wear black tights and white shoes :) I would wear a gold belt and would have my make up very natural. xxx
